I got to watch Gravitation (with Korean subtitles) up to episode 6... courtesy of the girl who subbed it. ^___^ She's the one who also draws doujinshi's. We ate dinner and went to kareoke today. She sang one of the L'arc en ciel songs...and it was LD (i think) so the screen was the actual music video. Waaahhh.... hyde was very very very very pretty~!!!!!!!

i also have raw unsubbed Gravitation up to episode 12..so I'm only missing one episode. Unfortunately, my aunt does not have a CD burner...so my only mode of transport is by uploading it onto my streamload account. I should have done that earlier...as I leave tomorrow afternoon. -_-;;; I just didn't know it would be so HELLISHLY SLOOOOWWWWW~~~~.

I'm currently uploading the episode...8 I think. It only uploaded 37 MB in the time it took me to write this. T_T So SLOW~!!!!!!!!

Haven't blogged for a while.

Meta. I've been to that leather goods store before....a few years ago...Kinda tagged along when the great one went to buy wrist and ankle restraints. -_-;;;; you can link four of them together and use them as a belt. i think she also bought a spiked leather collar. -_-;;;

Ahh... and about the spiky pizza cutters. I actually learned about them. You use them to see if the patient can feel pain. Can also carry a safety pin around and use it. ^^;;;; But they get blood on them and transport diseases so most people use broken edge of a tongue depressor instead.... Medicine is a study of kinkiness....

Bought an X art book for Meta..... Hoping that she doesn't already have it. Was gonna buy Cardcaptor S. art book for her...but had a feeling that she already had it....-_-

Ahhh... She is here. She came on Tuesday....and i've fed her salty fish eggs, tiny anchovies, quail eggs, dried squid, lemon soju, pear soju (which we made up), burnt rice, snacks made of pine tree, fungus, and red beans on ice. She liked all of them... all except kimchi which she's been staying away from. ^^;;;

Went to the palace.... pretty palace... and went down to the riverbank to get drunk... happy drunk.... The night scenery at the river was beautiful. ^____^

Gonna feed her soba noodles on ice today. ^_____^ She can't understand the idea of having noodles on ice.

In my anime class, there are a couple of 19 year old boys... one is very genki and the other is very quiet. The quiet one has eyelashes to kill for.... and usually he acts quite shy.

Then.. one day, the quiet one brought his friend who is kinda little and shy and smiles prettily. The four of us went out to buy comic books and to have lunch...

Well.. the road was really narrow and there was a car coming, so the quiet one lifted the little one in his arms and stood to the side while the car passed. ^^;;;

genki one: Hey...if you guys are dating, just come out and say so.

quiet one: Shut up.

little one: *smile smile*

me: ^^;;;;;;;;;;;

And then... the quiet one and the little one walked together...(well.. they always walk together...-_-) to the restaurant. We started to eat...

genki one: I'm gonna order another bowl of rice. How about you guys?

quiet one: I'll get one. (to the little one) why don't we share it?

little one: no.. i've had enough.

genki one: (to quiet one) i'll share it with you.

quiet one: no way.. if he doesn't share it with me, i'm gonna eat it all by myself.

me: ^^;;;;;;;;;;;

Aaah... I love Korean culture...where boys flirt with each other and walk around with their arms around each other...^^;;;;;;

Aaaah... Today, I bought LOTS of manga/manhwa. ^___^ I bought... 11 Gravitation, 5 DNAngel, 2 Masca, 2 Comic, 2 Bibika (sp?^^;;;) and the Saiyuki side story. ^___^ I got the 18 volumes (Gravitation, DNAngel, Masca) for about 50 CDN dollars. I am in heaven....

Currently reading 4th vol of Gravitation. Ahhh... Yuki-sama. The manga is a lot darker and complicated than the anime..and Shuiichi (sp?) actually looks like a 19 year old, unlike in the anime....except... he seems to look younger and younger as the story progresses. I even scanned a yummy yummy pic of Yuki-sama... If only spree.com wasn't acting weird and let me post it... T_T

Spoilers ahead in the blog~~!!! For Gravitation~!

The picture I scanned of Yuki is... well.. he looks extremely pissed. ^^;;; Considering that he usually looks bored or is smirking or just cold... it's quite unusual. But maybe not so unusual... since it was after Shiichi got raped...and Yuki is asking about the rapist... and God he looks pissed. ^^;;; Go Yuki~!! Go beat up the scums~!!! Hmmm... actually don't know what he does to get back at them... gotta go and keep on reading. ^____^

Today, I went to see Show Music Tank with this Chinese guy named Eric...and got chased around by security guards because we were there when we weren't supposed to.(eg. during the rehearsal). We got kicked out but we just went back in after a few minutes because we didn't want to go outside in the sun...and wait in the line with hundreds of fanatical fangirls for hours. So we did the "dumb american don't speak korean act." -_-;;;; After several attempts to kick us out which we pretended that we don't understand, they gave up. ^^;;; Aaahh.. this watching TV concert thingie is harder than I imagined...

I also did the personality test thingie. mmm.. I have lots of disorders.

Paranoid: High
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: Moderate
Antisocial: Moderate
Borderline: Low
Histrionic: Low
Narcissistic: High
Avoidant: Moderate
Dependent: Low
Obsessive-Compulsive: High

I never knew I was narcisstic; that must be because I've been told that I'm arrogant by my sister. I guess I'm pretty arrogant...or I try to be anyway. It's better than having low a self-esteem...which I've been having recently much to my dismay....

Ummm.. I did the Saiyuki test thingie.... and here's what I got.

______________

Rikudou

Due to your impatience and over-zealous attitude, you tend to be over-emotional and reckless. Although you cause trouble to those around you, you always "mop up" any mess you cause. You really should be more careful … since you tend behave recklessly when riled.

Persons who can "cure you" -

Sanzo. You crave his recognition

_______________

Meta. Cure me.

I met my aunt's friend's daughter.. and she does doujinshi!!!! ^____^ She's really into gravitation...and the two Seki voice actors.. and she used to have a fansite on Escaflowne music~! Aaaaahhhh... happiness.

I found out from her that Inu in Inu Yasha is Kyun in Korean...which is Chinese for dog read with Korean pronounciation. ^^;;; So..it's Dog Yasha. Mmmm... The doggie gives me cravings.. I have cravings for Inu Yasha.

Unfortunately, streamload is acting weird and slow...so I can't watch Inu Yasha...even though my aunt's computer is sooo much better than mine and actually lets me watch 200MB/episode divx clips.

Thursday, July 5, 2001 01:04 p.m.

Taking animation classes. My teacher is late...so I get to go on the computer until he comes. This is a fairly good school..with lots of computers and talented teachers... gahhh. He draws really really really well. Still.. the most favourite room for everyone is this tiny and dingy attic like room on the top floor..with a whole bunch of tiny desks crammed into it. I don't know why.. they just congregate there for some odd reason... but then.. it's very cosy in a very dingy way.

It is hot as hell here. I'm sweating like a pig... even though I'm wearing my rather skimpy shirt... I didn't know it was so skimpy until I went out and saw that about 95% of the female population is wearing more clothes than I am... --;;; That's okay.. at least there's that 5% who's dressed like I am.. I'm NOT a freak show... And I only took clothes that my prudish sister recommended for me...so it should be okay.. I guess that even *she* is liberal by ways of Koreans..

Ten hours before leaving this country......

I have cravings.... For Meta and her smiles... For Kiri and her soothing but humorous voice... For Nahmool's rantings.... For a peaceful silence shared with someone....

Instead, I have the humming of the computer... The sound of TV in the background... A lot of angst locked up inside my head..that even when those who have caused the angst have all forgotten it, I'm still dragging around a large black package of emotions...

But this entry is very corny. I'm trying to be poetic and philosophical and ending up sounding like.... I do when I'm depressed and my brain is dead.

Saturday, June 30, 2001 10:23 p.m.

Sprouts' blog is not letting me in again. T_T Aaaaahhh!!!! It's rejecting me!!! What have I done wrong? T_T

Spent the day with Meta today. As usual, we overdosed on anime and manga stuff. And... Ah... IT RAINED. I did worry about her on the way home thinking... hmmm.... she must be getting off the bus just about now.... and, wow..... it's *pouring* outside....

Saturday, June 30, 2001 01:36 a.m.

Aaah.. I finally got to see Bean Sprouts blog. Maybe there was something wrong with my computer before... it just wouldn't open.

Life is.... strange. I feel like I'm watching myself do things... like a third party. Go through all the motions of life.... Kinda surreal.....

I miss Kiri-chan. Funny that I don't really know her all that well... We've only met a few times... I was gonna draw her some pics... which I never did... *guilt guilt*

It feels so strange.... Mmmmm.... this entry is so choppy. But that's okay... I feel kinda... all over the place and not quite anywhere at the moment.

See Meta-chan tomorrow. We'll eat nice things and ogle more anime stuff..

Feels so very strange........

A clean slate again. Untainted... if that's a good thing.
